Police seek witnesses to fatal North Side stabbing

Police are trying to figure out how a North Center man ended up fatally stabbed on his front porch early this morning.
The 24-year-old man was declared dead at 6:40 a.m. at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center after he was found stabbed several times in the 4200 block of North Damen Avenue this morning.
He was identified as Solomon Morales of the Damen Avenue address where he was stabbed
 Police were called to the Damen Avenue home about 4:10 a.m. after the Morales' mother discovered him on her front porch, stabbed in the left chest, left flank and stomach.
By the time police arrived, Morales was apparently too disoriented to give any description of his attacker, where the attack happened or what happened to leave him injured
