A male victim was discovered dead in an alley tonight on the South Side in the
city's Chatham neighborhood.
Shortly after 8 p.m., police were alerted to an unresponsive person lying in
an alley on the 7500 block of South Evans Avenue, with a knife protruding from the victim.
As of 9:45 p.m., the age and identity of the victim was unknown.
