19-year-old man shot in South Shore
At about 3:35 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the South Shore
neighborhood.The man was in the 1900 block of East 72nd Place when he was shot in the hip. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
20-year-old man shot in Englewood
In Englewood, a 20-year-old man was shot in the thumb while driving. The man drove
to near 73rd and Green streets following the shooting, and told police he had
been driving when he was attacked, hearing shots and then feeling pain, in the
7000 block of South Morgan Street.
The man was treated and released from St. Bernard Hospital.
