Authorities are searching for a driver accused of fleeing a fatal
early-morning crash Sunday in the Hermosa neighborhood.
About 5:20 a.m., three vehicles were involved in a crash in the 1600 block of
North Kostner Avenue.
A preliminary investigation suggested a silver pickup truck traveling
southbound struck a Toyota Camry and a Hyundai Elantra.
The 25-year-old driver of the Camry died on the scene.
A 17-year-old boy riding in the vehicle was taken to Advocate Illinois
Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.
Both occupants of the Elantra declined medical treatment.
Police are searching for driver of the silver vehicle, which may be a Toyota
Tacoma
