2 shot in GreshamIn a third shooting, a 21-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were shot about 3:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of West 84th Street in the Gresham neighborhood. Police believe the two were sitting in a park when someone opened fire, striking the man in the leg and the woman in the stomach.
Both people were taken to Advocate Christ, where their conditions were stabilized.
2 shot in University VillageAt about 6:15 p.m., someone shot a 21-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman in the 1300 block of West Washburn Avenue in the city's University Village neighborhood.
Both were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. The woman suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken in good condition to University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago. The man was taken in critical condition to Stroger,

17-year-old boy shot in West PullmanAt about 6:20 p.m. in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, a 17-year-old boy apparently accidentally shot himself in the groin in the 11600 block of South Wentworth Avenue.
The teenager was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized
