Police took a person of interest into custody after a 28-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a domestic dispute early this morning on the West Side.
The dispute happened in the 3000 block of West Douglas Boulevard, about 1:20 a.m. Police said the man, whose name has not yet been released as authorities notify family members, was stabbed in the chest.
The man was declared dead at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 1:50 a.m.
