A woman was critically injured in a shooting in the West Side's North Austin neighborhood Tuesday evening. The shooting was one of at least two in the city since the evening.
About 9:40 p.m., a woman believed to be in her 20s was shot in the head the 4800 block of West Potomac Avenue.
The woman was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition.
