A Calumet City man was pronounced dead early Saturday morning after a motorcycle accident near Washington Park on the city's South Side.
The 42-year-old man's motorcycle hit a curb on the 5300 block of South Payne Drive shortly after midnight.
The victim was thrown into the grass of Washington Park where he struck a tree, and shortly after was taken to the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead
