A 31-year-old man was dead after suffering multiple gunshot wounds about 8 p.m. in the 11600 block of South Laflin Avenue. The man was declared dead on the scene at 8:20 p.m. after being shot in a garage behind a residence in the West Pullman neighborhood.
The man was in a garage with some friends just before 8 p.m. when at least one man walked up and shot the man several times, a police source said. Three people were seen running from the area.
