27-year-old man shot dead in Gresham
Someone walked up to a 27-year-old man and shot him in the head in the 8100 block of South Vincennes Avenue about 7:50 p.m. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Maurice Gibson, of the 7900 block of South Ashland Avenue.
