On the 2800 block of North Spaulding Avenue a little after 8 p.m., two people were reported shot.
Police had few immediate details, but confirmed that at 8:08 p.m. two men, . A 36-year-old man died and a 61-year-old was wounded
The other victim, who police said was wounded in the lower leg and with a graze wound to the head, was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in serious-to-critical condition.
