Man shot in Calumet HeightsAt about 10:15 p.m., a man who was driving in the 9300 block of South Paxton Avenue was shot in the forearm. He walked into Advocate Trinity Hospital for treatment.
17-year-old boy shot in AustinAt about 11:20 p.m., a 17-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his leg in the 1100 block of North Parkside Avenue
25-year-old man shot in AustinAt 1:17 a.m., a 25-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in the 5000 block of West Chicago Avenue. He was taken to Stroger Hospital for treatment.
6 shot outside Uptown storeSomeone shot six people who were standing outside J.J. Peppers Food Store in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.
All are expected to survive their wounds. The shots came from inside a passing dark sedan and it's not clear whether any in the group returned fire or whether any of the six wounded arrived at hospitals on their own.
Of the six wounded, three were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center: a 24-year-old man with a wound to his ankle, a 24-year-old man with wounds to his buttocks and a 23-year-old woman shot in both thighs.
A 30-year-old man shot in the right thigh was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, along with a 24-year-old man shot in the ankle. And a 22-year-old woman was grazed in her left knee and taken to Weiss Hospital.
