A pair of gunmen on bicycles shot and wounded two boys, 14 and 16, as they stood outside in the South Shore neighborhood.
Each of the boys was shot twice but their conditions were stabilized, one at Stroger Hospital and the other at Comer Children's Hospital.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Monday near the intersection of South Clyde Avenue and East 71st Street. The boys were standing outside when the shooters rode up on bicycles and opened fire
