35-year-old man shot dead in Austin
At about 10 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot multiple times after an argument in the 900 block of North Long Avenue.
The man fled partway down the street before collapsing, police said. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m..
He was identified as Miguel Tharpe, of the 2200 block of West Adams Street.
