28-year-old man shot in Woodlawn

Around 12:05 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot several times in the 6500 block of South Eberhart Avenue in the West Woodlawn neighborhood.
The man was sitting on the front porch of a home in that area when a man or boy with a handgun came up and shot him several times, then fled on foot. The man suffered gunshots to the face and each arm, but his condition was stabilized at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County
