 2 men shot in Marquette Park

At least two people were wounded this evening in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Marquette Park neighborhood.
Shortly after 6 p.m.,  two men were shot in the 7200 block of South Artesian Avenue in the same neighborhood. A 19-year-old and a 22-year-old were wounded in that attack. The pair was playing basketball when someone opened fire from a passing car.
Both victims, whose ages, genders and conditions were not immediately available, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn

  2 men shot in Marquette Park

Two men, 31 and 20, were shot in the 7000 block of South Talman Avenue in the Marquette Park about 6:05 p.m. The 31-year-old man was shot in the forearm. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospitaland then to Mount Sinai Hospital. The other man was dropped at Advocate Christ Medical Center by a friend

25-year-old man  shot in Lawndale

A 25-year-old man was shot in the mouth in the 3900 block of West Flournoy Street in the Lawndale neighborhood. He's in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital. The shooting happened about 8:35 p.m..

16-year-old  shot in  Lawndale

About 9:30, a 16-year-old was shot a number of times in the 1600 block of South Millard Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood. He was on foot when another person on foot approached and opened fire

27-year-old man  shot during robbery

A 27-year-old man was shot about the same time in the 4600 block of South Cicero Avenue, though he walked into MacNeal Hospital with a wound to his thigh. He had been shot during a robbery at a gas station after pulling out a wad of cash to get change for an air machine. His attacker noticed, followed him out and the two struggled after the robber pointed the gun at him and asked, "Do you think I'm playing?" The gun, described by police as a small-caliber semi-automatic handgun, went off during the struggle and the 27-year-old's money was taken.

Man shot in Logan Square

A man whose age wasn't available was shot about 10:30 p.m. in the Logan Square neighborhood, police said. He was in the 2900 block of North Wisner Avenue and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition with a wound to his shoulder.
He apparently tried to flee and pulled up next to a Police car in the 4000 block of West Belmont Avenue. He told the officer he had been shot.

19-year-old shot in West Pullman

A 19-year-old woman was shot just after midnight in the 300 block of West 124th Street. She sustained a graze wound and was treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center
