22, 35, 15 year-olds shot in Austin
At about 3 a.m. in the West Side's South Austin neighborhood, a shooter emerged from a gangway and fired shots in the 100 block of North Laramie Avenue.A 22-year-old man standing in front of a house was struck in the buttocks and taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County
Two men walking down the sidewalk were also struck. A 35-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, and a 15-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to both ankles and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital
52-year-old woman shot in Englewood
At about 2:30 a.m., a 52-year-old woman sleeping in her home in the 6400 block of South Normal Avenue was awakened by the sound of a gunshotThe woman realized she had been shot in the upper arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition was stabilized.
It appeared the bullet traveled through her wall from the outside
43-year-old woman shot in Gresham
At about 1:50 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Parnell Avenue, someone fired shots out of a vehicle as a 43-year-old woman told her children to come inside. The woman sustained a graze wound to the arm and was treated on the scene. She refused further medical treatment
30-year-old man shot in Englewood
At about 12:10 a.m., a 30-year-old man was hurt in a drive-by shooting in the 6800 block of South Winchester Avenue. Someone in a Honda SUV opened fire as the man stood with friends, and as the man ran away, he realized he was struck. He was taken with a gunshot wound to the ankle to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition
