Wednesday night, Robert Cann, 26, was riding in the 1300 block of North Clybourn Avenue when a southbound Mercedes sedan hit him, fatally injuring Cann, then another car.
The driver of the Mercedes is being questioned by police on suspicion of driving under the influence in the collission, which took place about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Cann, of the 3200 block of North Southport Avenue, was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital

ever see how some of those guys ride? some are pretty bad disobeying stopsigns/lights cutting off going across two lanes of trafficgranted the car has to watch too but i've seen how some ride so bad they it makes you want to get out and kick their ass

If they were drunk yes, but in many other cases bikers just like some drives don't think the rules apply to them and when riding in traffic you won't win your right of way from an idiot on the phone in an suv or a biker who thinks rolling digns and pushing past cars is safe driving.

Ive been a bike rider in Chicago since before it became popular...I take the side walks...give me a ticket! Too much textin these days to trust the damn street.
