At about 8:05 p.m., another shooting happened this time in the South Austin neighborhood.
The shooting happened on the 200 block of North Mayfield Avenue.
A 40-year-old man was shot in the head and was taken in critical condition to Loyola University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Someone ran up to the man and shot him before fleeing on foot
