24-year-old man shot in Englewood
In the first shooting today, a 24-year-old man walked into the Englewood district police station on 63rd Street after someone shot him in the hip.The shooting occurred just after midnight near the intersection of 61st Street and Ashland Avenue
The man's leg was grazed and he was treated for the wound at the police station, about two blocks east of Ashland Avenue on 63rd Street
Man shot in Englewood
At about 12:47 p.m., a man was seriously injured after also being shot in the Englewood neighborhood.The shooting happened on the 2000 block of West 68th Place.
The victim was shot in the leg and back and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center
21-year-old woman shot in Humboldt Park
At about 5 p.m., a 21-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her leg on the 1600 block of North Spaulding Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side. She was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where her condition had stabilized
42-year-old man shot in Chatham
At about 7 p.m., a 42-year-old man was shot in the back on the 8400 block of South Maryland Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition
