2 in custody after man shot CanaryvilleOfficers saw someone shooting out of a car in the 4300 block of South Union Avenue about 10:20 p.m. and followed it to 4700 S. Princeton Avenue, where the shooter's car collided with a squad car. Two officers were injured in the collision, treated, and released from University of Chicago Hospital with minor injuries.
Police later found a 27-year-old shot in the 4300 block of South Union Avenue, and he was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Medical Center.
