A man in his 20s was taken to a hospital following a drive-by shooting on the South Side this afternoon.
At 4:30 p.m. police responded to a call of shots fired in the 5500 block of South LaSalle Street and found a man his 20s who had been shot.
The victim was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where his condition had stabilized
Police learned later the victim was shot during a drive by near the intersection of Morgan Drive and 55th Street and a crime scene was discovered there
