A 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Bronzeville neighborhood during an
apparent domestic dispute Sunday night.
Authorities were called about 8:40 p.m. to a home in the 4000 block of South
Wabash Avenue on the South Side.
A man was taken with multiple stab wounds to Northwestern Memorial Hospital,
where he was pronounced dead. He was declared dead at 9:28 p.m
The man lived at the address where he was stabbed, according to the medical
examiner's office.
The man and his girlfriend were in an argument that escalated into a fight
and ended with the man being stabbed in the chest.
Police took the girlfriend into custody following the stabbing
