Someone shot a 28-year-old man in the back this afternoon in the Longwood Manor
neighborhood on the Far South Side
The shooting happened about 1 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 97th Street.
The victim, a 28-year-old
man, was shot in the back and taken in critical condition to Little Company of
Mary Hospital
Larry Ranole, 28, of the 1200 block of West 97th Street, was pronounced dead at
1:35 p.m. at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in
Evergreen Park
