An aviation security officer was stabbed to death in the Far South Side's
Kennedy Park neighborhood Sunday morning and police arrested his 24-year-old son
in connection with the homicide.
The stabbing happened about 2:45 a.m. in the 11400 block of South Rockwell
Avenue.
Kenneth Johnson, 49, of the 11400 block of South Rockwell Avenue, was
pronounced dead at 3:50 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Johnson was stabbed "multiple times"

The neighborhood is called Morgan Park. Kennedy Park is the name of the actual Park across the street from thier house. No one refers to it as the Kenedy Park neighborhood, but some claim it to be West Beverly to keep thier property values from sinking
