Body pulled from South Branch of Chicago River
A female body was pulled from the South Branch of the Chicago River after a passerby
spotted it in the water this morning.
Police got a 911 call
at 8:16 a.m. saying the body was floating in the river at 2900 S. Ashland
Avenue
