40 year old man shot during robbery in Gage Park
About 7:50 p.m., several people approached a man in the Gage Park neighborhood and announced a robbery.Shortly afterward, at least one of the people in the group opened fire in the 2400 block of West 54th Street and struck the man in the upper back.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition. The attackers fled the scene without taking anything

At about 9:30 p.m., a man in his 30s was shot in the finger as he walked in the 4100 block of West 63rd Street in the West Lawn neighborhood
