A Chicago police sergeant shot at a robbery suspect who pointed a gun at him during a foot chase.
The suspect wasn't hit but was arrested a short time later
Officers had responded to a call of a person shot in the 6800 block of South Peoria Street about 3:10 a.m. Thursday.
Officers didn't find anyone shot but they were approached by a robbery victim who pointed out the robber. Officers ran after the suspect, who pointed a gun at them.
The sergeant shot at the man but missed, and he was arrested a short time later. A weapon was found at the scene.
