Police today released surveillance photos of a man suspected in at least two recent robberies on Pink Line CTA trains.
The robberies took place at 10:45 a.m. Jan. 28 at about 2019 S. Kostner Ave. and at 5 p.m. on Feb. 9 at about 1931 S. Kostner Ave.
In the robberies, the man approached the victims, displayed a handgun and took cell phones before fleeing as the train stopped at a station.
The alert describes the suspect as a black man, 22-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch and 160 to 185 pounds, with a medium complexion, pockmarks on his face and a tattoo or tattoos on his left neck.
