Three men tried to talk a 14-year-old girl into an SUV on the Northwest Side today, and when one of them got out and tried to drag her inside she was able to escape and flee to safety
The attack took place about 7:55 a.m. as the girl was walking northbound on Laramie Avenue between George Street and Oakdale Avenue.
A newer green SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Blazer , with dents on the passenger side front approached the girl and the front passenger tried to strike up a conversation. A passenger in the rear seat told the girl to get into the car.

The attacker got back into the SUV, which drove off eastbound in the alley between George Street and Oakdale Avenue.

The man was wearing black cotton sweat pants, black and red Air Jordan gym shoes, and a gray hooded sweatshirt with red writing on the front and red writing with a picture of a building on the rear.
The second attacker was described in the alert as Hispanic, with dark brown hair down to just below his ears and a thin black mustache. He had an earring in his left ear and a piercing in his left eyebrow, and was wearing a black sweater.
