A man died and a woman was seriously injured in a 2-car traffic crash on the Far South Side this morning.
Two cars collided at 10:35 a.m. in the 3300 block of East 100th Street.
Dead was Timothy Schnur, 31, of the 100 block of Mulligan Court in Schaumburg. Schnur was declared dead at the University of Chicago medical center at 10:57 a.m.
One person was dead on the scene and another was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The crash happened on a bridge that spans the Calumet River.
