Chicago police are warning people who frequent a South Side lakefront bike path to be careful after two offenders were responsible for two recent strong-armed robberies.
The robberies happened on Dec. 1 and Dec. 3 on the 4300 block of South Lake Shore Drive.
The Dec. 1 robbery happened at 5:30 p.m. and involved a 32-year-old male victim and the Dec. 2 robbery happened at 5:35 p.m. and involved a 39-year-old male victim,.
In both instances, the suspects approached men who were on bike path and announced a robbery. No weapon was displayed.
Both suspects are described as black, between 16 and 20 years old, between 5-feet-6 and 6-feet tall, and between 140 and 160 pounds
