Saturday evening, a 26-year-old man was shot during an armed robbery in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Two males approached the man about 5:30 p.m. as he stood in a vestibule in the 4200 block of West Washington Boulevard.
During the robbery, one of the assailants shot the man in the hip, and the robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was taken to Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized.
