An 18-year-old parolee and a 17-year-old girl robbed and carjacked two people in
the Edgewater Beach neighborhood over the weekend.

robbery about 3:45 a.m. Saturday in the 5800 block of North Kenmore Avenue.
Brown, of the 6800 block of South Champlain Avenue, was paroled Oct. 11,

the Illinois Department of Corrections website. He was serving a one year
sentence at the Danville Correctional Center when he was paroled.
After carjacking a young couple at gun point, Brown and Macklin fled northbound on Kenmore in the BMW. A police “flash

unoccupied, in the 1000 block of West Glenlake with its keys still inside.
The officer looked around and saw Brown and Macklin walking in the 6100 block
