Woman shot in South Shore

At 10:18 a.m., a 27-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the left leg during a shooting in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side. She was treated on the scene by Chicago Fire Department paramedics. The shooting took place just minutes before a fire broke out on the same block, injuring six people, although there was no indication that the two incidents were related.
