Man charged with killing 16-year-old girl
An 18-year-old man has been charged with shooting a 16-year-old girl to death
Monday night in the Roseland neighborhood.
Deon Blandon, of the 11300 block of South Normal Avenue, was charged with
first degree murder Thursday afternoon.
He's accused of killing Taylor Fitting, who was pronounced dead before
midnight Monday after getting shot about 9:25 p.m. about a block from where
Blandon lives.
