A vehicle struck two pedestrians in the Ravenswood neighborhood Friday night,
killing one and leaving the other in critical condition
The collision happened at about 6 p.m. Friday on the 5000 block of North
Western Avenue on the Northwest Side
A vehicle struck two people, both of whom were taken to Saint Francis Hospital in
Evanston.
One of them, 85-year-old Evanston resident Raymond Lending, was pronounced
dead at 9:09 p.m..
The other pedestrian was in critical condition
