46-year-old man shot in Austin
A 46-year-old man was wounded this morning in a shooting on the West Side in the
city's Austin neighborhood.
Preliminary reports said at about 6:18 a.m. the man was walking on the 100 block
of North Lorel Avenue when he heard shots. The man started running, but shortly
after he realized he was shot in the arm.
