Man struck and killed by taxi in traffic crash

A man believed to be in 30s was struck by a taxi cab after walking into traffic in the 6800 block of North Sheridan Road in the Rogers Park neighborhood just before 4 a.m. Thursday.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead.
The cab driver remained at the scene after the accident
