Man shot in Avondale
A man was taken to a hospital in serious condition after being shot this afternoon
on the Northwest Side.
Someone shot the man at 1:54 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Nelson Street in
the Avondale neighborhood.
The victim, who is possibly in his early 20s, was seriously injured and taken
to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center
