A man in his 20s was shot and killed in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood Friday
evening after an argument over a bicycle.
Someone on a bicycle approached the man, who was in the 2100 block of East
95th Street, and opened fire about 6:10 p.m..
A witness told police that the two were arguing earlier before the man was
shot.
The Cook County medical examiner's office was notified of the death but
wasn't immediately able to provide more information. The man lived in the 7200
block of South Champlain Avenue.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced
dead.
