A 24-year-old man who was in the process of buying marijuana was shot in the leg
this evening in the West Englewood neighborhood.
The
shooting happened at about 8 p.m. on the 6700 block of South Hoyne Avenue.
The man told police
he was shot as he was buying marijuana from an 18-year-old man who may have shot
him in the leg.
The victim took himself to Holy Cross
Hospital and then transferred to Advocate Christ Medical in fair condition
