At about 11:15 p.m., two men were shot as they stood in an alley behind the
5200 block of West Potomac Avenue in the North Austin neighborhood.
A 30-year-old man was hit in
the left side of the head and the abdomen and taken to Stroger in critical
condition.
A 25-year-old man wounded in the upper chest was also taken to Stroger, where
his condition was stabilized.
