19-year-old man shot in Heart of Chicago
A 19-year-old man in a car with his girlfriend was shot in the 2300 block of
South Leavitt Street about 8:40 p.m. in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood. Someone approached the car and opened fire, hitting the man and
also striking the car. The man's girlfriend drove him to Mount Sinai Hospital.
He was shot in the right side of his back
