14 years old shot in Chatham
A teenage boy was shot in the shoulder on the 800 block of East 87th Street,
Purkiss said. The teen, who is 14 years old, was taken to Comer Children's
Hospital on the University of Chicago Hospital campus, where his condition was
stabilized.
The shooting took place at about 4 p.m. in the East Chatham
neighborhood.
