Teen,who had been dropped on his head numerous times as a baby, charged with killing 17-year-old in front of victim's mother
A 17-year-old has been charged with killing another teen who was with his mother
and brother outside of a laundromat in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Alan Padilla, of the 5000 block of South Michigan Avenue was
charged with first-degree murder and is expected to appear in bond court on
Monday.
Padilla is charged with shooting Jalen C.J. Stogner,
17, who was shot outside of the laundromat on the 4800 block of South Ashland
Avenue.
He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital in Chicago at
5:11 p.m., less than an hour after he was shot
