Man shot dead in Austin

A West Side shooting happened at about 8:40 p.m. and left a male dead from gunshot wounds in the 3800 block of West Congress Parkway
The man was walking when a male approached him on foot and opened fire, hitting man in his torso and neck. The man was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital
33-year-old Mushun Franklin dead from gunshot wounds in the 3800 block of West Congress Parkway
