A 21-year-old man died after touching the electrified third rail at a Rogers Park
red line station.
The man, John Versnel, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in
Evanston about 1:30 a.m. after falling from the platform at the Loyola CTA
station.
Police believe the fall was accidental. Alcohol may have played a role in the fall

That's a shame. The platforms in Chicago are awful. Every time I'm on the state and lake platform I feel like I'm walking the fucking plank and on top of that oblivious little girls on their cell phones with their forever 21 shopping bags aren't even considerate enough to BACK THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!
The platforms with the most traffic are the smallest.
