48-year-old shot in Englewood during store robbery

A 48-year-old was shot in the 6200 block of South Morgan Street about 7:35 p.m.. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious-to-critical condition with a gunshot wound to the back. The shooter, described as a man in his 20s, entered a store, displayed a gun and demanded cash. It’s unclear if he fled the store with any proceeds from the robbery.
