20-year-old shot in Garfield Park
At about 8:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot as he tried to run away from a group
of males chasing him in the 3600 block of West Ohio Street. It’s not clear why
they were chasing him, but the 20-year-old heard the gunfire and was struck
multiple times. He was taken to Stroger Hospital.
